Complaint guidance

Internal complaint

If our assistance or fees do not meet the client's expectations, we encourage the client to contact and file a complaint with the partner, and thus the law firm within Aumento Law Firm, with whom the client has entered into an agreement for assistance.

External complaint

The lawyers at Aumento are subject to the supervision and disciplinary system of the Danish Bar and the rules of good legal practice, as provided in Section 126 of the Administration of Justice Act. Additionally, the Code of Conduct for Lawyers applies. The rules that specifically apply to the practice of the legal profession can be found on the website of the Danish Bar Association at www.advokatsamfundet.dk.

If a dispute arises regarding the fees charged by us, or if there is dissatisfaction with the conduct of one of our lawyers, the client may complain about the amount of the fee and/or the conduct to the Danish Complaints Board for the Legal Profession (Advokatnævnet), located at Kronprinsessegade 28, 1306 Copenhagen K, www.advokatnaevnet.dk, phone: 33 96 97 98, or email: postkasse@advokatnaevnet.dk.

If the client is a consumer and the conditions are met, the complaint can also be submitted via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. This is particularly relevant if the client is a consumer residing in another EU country. The complaint can be submitted through the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
