Aumento welcomes three experienced partner profiles

Aumento has expanded its group of partners with the addition of three prominent and industry-recognized profiles within IT law and Corporate & Commercial.

As previously announced (https://www.aumento.dk/en/updates/aumento-welcomes-yet-another-experienced-partner-profile), attorney Mads Nygaard Madsen joined as a partner on 1 December 2025. On 1 January 2026, attorneys Nicolai Mallet and Michael Goeskjær have also joined Aumento as partners. The three have worked closely together for many years – the last approx. 5 years as partners at DAHL and before that for a longer period as partners at Horten.

Strong expertise in IT law and commercial law

Nicolai Mallet is a commercial lawyer with many years of specialisation in Danish-German legal matters, commercial and employment law as well as litigation. He has been among the most frequently used legal advisors in commissions of inquiry set up by the government and the Danish Parliament and has acted as a defence counsel in the most recent impeachment trial in Denmark.

Mads Nygaard Madsen and Michael Goeskjær have both specialised in IT law for many years and have extensive experience with negotiating IT contracts and handling complex IT disputes – including in connection with large public systems.  In addition, they both have a broad background in commercial law.

Mads has previously been Chairman of the Association of Danish IT Attorneys (2017-2020) and is ranked as a Leading Partner within Data Privacy & Data Protection by Legal 500, and also ranked within Information Technology by Chambers.

Michael has taught as an external lecturer in IT law and practical contract law at the University of Copenhagen and has been a legal advisor in several of the commissions of inquiry set up by the government and the Danish Parliament.
